The U.S. Naval Academy’s Class of 1966 was looking to create a yearbook for their 40th reunion. The goal was a publication that would occupy a prominant place in their classmates’ bookshelves and showcase their 40 year history.
The yearbook was a 580 page black and white, sewn and glued, hardcovser book with an engraved and foil stamped cover, blue and gold headers, gold ribbon, and a 16 page color signature. I worked with the class’s yearbook committee to put together a book that included more than 900 individual biographies with more than 1,600 retouched photos, a history section with more than 100 retouched and color corrected photos, advertisements, and a full index.
